Hello and welcome to DART! We are a group of passionate, animal loving Delta Airline employees and retirees who volunteer their time and free travel to transport rescue pets across the U.S.

Are We Right For Your Rescue?

Our company is gracious to give us free travel benefits. However, we fly standby. Standby means we do not have a confirmed seat. We are given empty seats on a flight. We are pretty good at routing, schedules, and choosing the best day and flights for a transport. Everyone involved needs to be flexible and available on the best travel day chosen for the transports to be successful. If you have an urgent situation, we may or may not be able to accommodate you. We are a passionate group and strive to help you and your rescue.

Process

First, approval is needed. Please fill out our application on this website. A Dart administrator will notify you of your status. Once you are approved, you may email us at: transportdart@gmail.com to inquire about a transport pet and we will send you a transport form to complete. Once completed, email the form back to us for listing with our transport volunteers. We will notify you once a volunteer is found. We will then seek and arrange transport. We coordinate transports via Facebook messenger and group chats. The rescue or approved transport coordinator will be added to the group Facebook message to help coordinate transport. Administrators will oversee all transports. They are there to help instruct, coordinate, answer questions and help everything go as smoothly as possible.
